When you tear out a man’s tongue, you are not proving him a liar, you’re only telling the world that you fear what he might say. Shocked Shocked affraid

I don't like Suzuka.
There's no good Suzuka version for rFactor and all of them are pretty much the same shitty version.
I hate those kerbs and their only purpose is to 'punish' you and fuck up your race, which makes it annoying to race and try to compete against other cars, when you have the hardest time just keeping your car on track...

So, as expected, it was a damn hard race to me.
I'm slow with this mod (slower compared to the faster guys as I was in the previous mods - but don't worry, I still like this mod pretty much - not complaining. Just stating a fact) and I'm specially slow at Suzuka, so the combination of both things wasn't exactly 'promising' to me...

I had a bad quali, because although I was able to take 4 hotlaps, I just couldn't get ANY of them right, so I started near the back of the grid, in 16th place..
In the race I was going for 1 stop only, on Mediums+Mediums and I knew most guys would go for 2 stops on Softs (faster tires), so I knew it was going to be tough and wasn't expecting a great result... My main goal was to just stay on track and hopefully away from incidents...
Well, let's say it didn't work that well...
Razz

But I saw a LOT of incidents happening and I myself was able to avoid most of them, so I guess I can't complain.
Still I had my own issues and hard times, but it was all expected anyway...
And even Joe gave me a small bump, but it's ok, because he has a LOT of credit and that was just some friendly fire and 'it happens' - no problem at all, mate, don't worry, ok?
Smile

After all of the deaths and slaughtering... I was able to finish in 8th place and score 'whatever points' you guys are giving this season - I myself didn't like the new point system and I think we should use the one from real life, but... nevermind... - points are points and I'm glad I got a few of them.

I think I could've been 7th today and 5th in the previous race if it wasn't by my damn internet connection, so I'm sure I could be a little better placed on the Championship Standings, but... whatever... I don't even know in which position I am anyway - Tables, pliss?!..
Razz

Here's my race replay if anyone wants to check anything in it:

See you guys at Bahrain!
cheers

I'm glad I got my first points, but drove pretty bad actually, considering I did have a good pace for this race, lots of mistakes, a few trips on the grass, a spun...it's like my fingers were numb  Very Happy (I came tense after watching the F1 race). Luckily others also did lots of mistakes and spins, once, in front of me Adrian flew high in the air in the hairpin after colliding with someone, that was spectacular. Razz
It's a difficult track for kb, just finishing the race it's an achievement  Smile
